Thanks for sharing, Maria. I agree 1000%. When I really know what I want to say, I write the first draft on my phone, in half an hour. Edits usually take far longer (especially when I’m writing about something that requires the insertion of authoritative voices/references), but I never suffer from a mid-editing crisis and feel like the piece is falling apart. The questions are on point. I’ll probably come back to them in the future.
