Exactly. Some people are so afraid of offending or losing business by being opinionated that they prefer to have a generic image and produce bland content. Especially in very politicized industries, there’s no choice, you either have an opinion or you’re boring.

I’ve had to unlearn the fear to offend for my “personal brand”, but I had it pretty ingrained in my professional practice. It’s okay to have principles, it’s okay not to like everything all the time.
